The Sims 4 and Custom Content [How to install CC]

I have played The Sims franchise as long as I can remember.

The Sims 2 was the first one I actually played some legacy challenge with and remember struggling in the Sims 3 building whole lot.

I have since The Sims 4 liked the look of the Maxis Match custom content I found people use in their games via youtube and their let's play series.

Only last year, 2020 I started to realize; If you can't find something you miss in the game, do it yourself. So I started with simple wallpapers, then recolored some sofas and created some paintings. Create a Sim items are still quite tough for me, but I have few recolors for that category too.

I share all the Sims 4 maxis match recolors I do on my patreon page.

You'll find that I have my patrons with early access and all creations come public earliest as 2 weeks since the patron launch.

How to install custom content:

1. Download a .package from the patreon page

2. Open your The Sims 4 game file (Electronic Arts - The Sims 4)

3. Find folder named "mods", open it

4. Move .package file into the mods folder

5. Now you can launch your The Sims 4 game and enable the custom content via the game settings.

6. Enjoy!

Do not download from webpages you do not know and trust.

Never reupload other creators creations. It is disrespectful.

Ask permission to recolor or for any changes you might want to do yourself.

Always be thoughtful of other creators.
