Stepdad

A man I called as my stepdad for nearly 20 years has passed away.

He was too sweet.

Too kind.

Gave too much to everyone else.

He literally was the most selfless person I have ever known in my life.

I'll miss you.

And I'll always remember the things you taught me.

How to dance polka.

How to do simple maintenance on my car.

How to use a computer.

How to care.

How to smile to a smallest of things.

How to understand that it is okay to be me.

And he taught me to hug. To give one of those tight hugs, in case we won't see in a while.

Thank you for absolutely everything.
